This hit me first in business. A project ended. A capable colleague left. A client I counted on walked away. A deal fell through at the worst time.

Each one felt like a step back. And maybe it was. But it's just a roll of the dice. You're in a worse position now - fine. That's the position you play from.

The only move that's yours is the next one.

Take time to process. Feel what you need to feel. Don't bury it. But then pick up the dice.
